Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Database Engineer to manage and support critical cloud-based database technologies including Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and DynamoDB.

This hybrid role is ideal for a technical professional with strong database optimization, infrastructure knowledge, cloud technology experience, and the ability to align technical solutions with business goals.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in technology operations, infrastructure management, or similar enterprise roles
• Database Technologies: Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, and DynamoDB
• Operating Systems: Linux and Windows Server experience
• Monitoring: 2+ years of proficiency with Dynatrace
• Database Tools: 7–10 years of experience with IDERA and OEM
• Optimization: 7–10 years of database optimization experience in high-paced environments
• Oracle Expertise: Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Active Data Guard setup and optimization

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise-level cloud and on-premise database environments
• Monitor database performance, reliability, availability, and optimization
• Support Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and Active Data Guard setup and optimization
• Work with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and operations teams
• Identify database performance issues and implement improvement strategies
• Maintain documentation, operational standards, and database best practices
